At Sri Shakthi Peetham, we believe that no one should go hungry, especially those who are vulnerable and struggling for survival. Hunger is a harsh reality for many, and we are committed to bringing relief through our Food Distribution Program, which provides freshly cooked, nutritious meals to those in need. Every day, our initiative serves 300 to 400 people, ensuring that the most disadvantaged receive food, care, and dignity. Our program focuses on patients in government hospitals, orphaned children, and elderly individuals living on the streets, particularly near traffic signals. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to not only feed the hungry but also restore hope, compassion, and human connection.
Many underprivileged families from rural villages travel to government hospitals in cities, seeking medical treatment for their loved ones. With limited financial resources, they often struggle to afford food, making an already difficult situation even more painful.
Orphaned and abandoned children often endure severe hunger and malnutrition, struggling to survive without basic care.
In many cities, elderly individuals abandoned by their families are left to beg on the streets, struggling to survive hunger, harsh weather, and neglect.
Through Sri Shakthi Peetham’s Food Distribution Program, we are not just feeding people—we are restoring dignity, compassion, and hope. Every meal served is a step toward a more caring and hunger-free society.
